Get Closer with Prof. apt. I Ketut Adnyana, Ph.D., Researcher in Natural Product Medicine of Indonesia

Prof. I Ketut Adnyana, Ph.D or Pak Ketut as everyone usually calls him, is the one of School of Pharmacy lectures.
He completed his undergraduate program in 1993, apotechary in 1994 and Master in Science (Pharmacy) in 1996 from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He got his Doctoral of Philosophy from Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Japan in 2001.

Pak Ketut has been teaching in School of Pharmacy ITB since 1994. He is the member of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy Research Group in School of Pharmacy and teach in Pathophysiology, Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacology of Natural Products, anatomy an physiology of human, ethnopharamcology, etc

Pak Ketut has curiosity in develop and invent natural product medicine for degenerative disease including metabolic syndrome as his research field. He concerns with natural product medicine of Indonesia because natural product is the greatest treasure and potential in abundance, tradition, and accesibility into raw material.

Now, Pak Ketut is a dean of School of Pharmacy since 2020. While he also has activity in National Agency of Food and Drug Control of Republic Indonesia (BPOM). He loves to run and joins with alumni for the social campaigns for apothecary education student in ITB Ultra Marathon.
