Virtual Course Program 2020
The 2020 Summer School Program of the School of Pharmacy has officially commenced. In this year, the Summer School Program has transformed into a Virtual Course due to the pandemic situation. The opening ceremony of the Virtual Course 2020 was held virtually in Zoom Meeting on December 11th, 2020 with the opening remarks from the Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Adnyana and the Chair of the Virtual Course Program, Dr. Muhamad Insanu. The opening ceremony was attended by the lecturers of the School of Pharmacy and 36 pharmaceutical students from 8 countries, including Malaysia, Japan, Philippines, Afghanistan, Yemen, Costa Rica, Croatia, and Indonesia.
The theme of the Virtual Course 2020 is “The Role of Pharmacists in Facing Global Health Problem. This program is expected to contribute to the advancement of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences practices through sharing of knowledge and experiences through a series of pharmaceutical lectures, sharing session with pharma industry, as well as to promote cultural exchange among the participants. The lectures will be given by Prof. Dr. Daryono Hadi Tjahjono from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Chin-Kun Wang from Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan, Lunawati Bennet, Ph.D from Union University, USA, and Dr. Tipaporn Kanjanarach from Khon Kaen University, Thailand from December 15, 2020 until February 9, 2021.
