FINALLY, BEING ABLE TO ENTER THE CAMPUS, FRESHMEN OF SCHOOL OF PHARMACY ITB ARE ENTHUSIASTIC
The pandemic condition has forced educational activities in recent times to be conducted online. However, this is certainly useful to reduce the risk of transmitting the Covid-19. Currently, along with the reduced cases of Covid-19 transmission, the education field is very happy because it can start limited face-to-face lectures, especially in universities. Therefore, to better introduce the campus world to students, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) held ITB Campus Tour 2021 for Matriculation Program (Tahap Persiapan Bersama, TPB) students.
ITB Campus Tour activities were held by the directorate of education in collaboration with faculties/schools at ITB. The Campus Tour activities for School of Pharmacy were attended by TPB students from batch 2021and held on November 22-24, 2021. On the first day, students travelled around campus to explore some of the places on the Ganesha Campus. Furthermore, they received a welcome from the Dean of the School of Pharmacy ITB, which took place at the Gallery CC Timur. In this session, 112 TPB students of School of Pharmacy received exposure to the profile of School of Pharmacy ITB including scientific groups, organizational structure, student activities, and student achievements. This was conveyed with the aim at evoking the enthusiasm of students to be able to excel.
The ITB Campus Tour 2021activities on the second day were held by conducting sports activities at Sasana Olahraga Ganesha (Saraga) ITB, a sporting center located in ITB environment, where can be accessed by students, ITB workers, and public. The sports facilities at Saraga include a swimming pool (beginner’s pool, Olympic pool, and diving pool), fitness center, running track, soccer field, futsal court, basketball court, tennis court, and volleyball court.
The series of ITB Campus Tour 2021 activities on the third day ended by giving TPB students experiences to be able to do practical work in basic physics and basic chemistry laboratories. They were very enthusiastic about participating in all the activities, which were held for three days. Hopefully, the experiences during ITB Campus Tour 2021 would be memorable and useful for all TPB students who took part in it, and made students more familiar with the campus world at ITB and School of Pharmacy.
Stay successful, be enthusiastic, and keep up the good work at the Ganesha Campus!
