Bachelor Master Integration Program
In an effort to increase the number and quality of Postgraduate students, the ITB School of Pharmacy has opened a Bachelor – Master Integration Program. This Integration Program is an update of the previous program, the Bachelor Master Integration Program (PPSM) / Fast Track.
Outline of the Differences in the Design of the Integration Program with PPSM
About | PPSM | Integration Program |
Student Admission to Join the Program | Semester V or Semester VI |
Initial information regarding the integration program has been conveyed during the TPB. Intensive socialization of the Integration program has been carried out starting from semester 3, so that undergraduate students already understand the Integration Program. Registration can begin at the end of semester 3 (after completing semester 3). |
Criteria for accepting students to join the program | There are academic requirements according to the Academic Regulations (in the form of IP and minimum passing credits) |
|
Final Project and Thesis | Can have different supervisors and topics and are not integrated |
|
Taking Master’s Courses as an Undergraduate | The earliest to be done is in Semester VI |
|
Education Administration Fee (BPP) | The Master’s Program is subject to the applicable Master’s BPP according to the Rector’s Regulation on BPP. | The Master’s Program during the normal study period of the Integration Program (maximum 2 semesters) is subject to Undergraduate UKT. If students are unable to complete the Masters Program within 2 semesters, then the Masters BPP applies according to the Rector’s Regulation on BPP. |
Requirements or qualifications for undergraduate students to participate in the Integration Program
Here are some requirements that can be met by this Integration Program for undergraduate students as follows:
- Undergraduate students can register for the Bachelor-Masters Integration Pathway Program at the end of Semester 3 (three) with the provision of having an IP ≥ 3.00 (three point zero zero).
- Initial information regarding the integration program has been conveyed during the TPB. Registration can begin after completing semester 3 after the student has experience studying in the chosen study program.
- Master’s courses can be taken starting in semester 5 according to the curriculum framework of the integration program
- Taking Master’s courses in the Bachelor-Master’s Integration Program at the beginning of semester 5 (five) with the condition that the Bachelor’s Program student has completed the Bachelor’s Program courses with a total of ≥ 71 (seventy-one) credits or all compulsory level 2 courses have been passed.
- The Master’s Program courses that can be taken are at least 9 (nine) credits with the proposed Integration curriculum, so S1 students have the opportunity to take 23 credits of Master’s Courses for the FKK study program and 18 credits of Master’s Courses for the STF study program.
- In the Integration Program, the Master’s Program courses that have been taken by students who withdraw from the program remain valid for 5 (five) years since the student graduated from the Undergraduate Program.
- Students participating in the Integration Program are exempted from the TOEFL/ELPT-ITB (Test of English as a Foreign Language/English Language Proficiency Test) and TPA (Academic Potential Test) requirements for registration in the Masters Program.
- For prospective Masters students whose Masters interests are following the Clinical Pharmacy pathway/option, they must complete the pharmacist profession first, so that the Integration program cannot be followed by prospective students. This is our challenge to implement the Integration program.
Student acceptance mechanism to participate in the integration program
- Data collection of potential students
- Socialization to lecturers about the Integration program
- Program promotion to TPB
- Program promotion to S1 level 2
- Program promotion to S1 level 3
- Program promotion to S1 level 4
- Meeting with potential students
- Program registration
- Initial meeting of students participating in the Integration program
Procedure for Taking Courses in the Integration Program
By considering the Integration Program Curriculum, a scenario can be created for taking Masters Courses for students participating in the Integration program. The scenario is created for students who have a S1 GPA of at least 3.00. Possible course-taking scenarios are as follows:
Credit-Taking Guide
Student IP | Maximum credits taken for S1 | Maximum credits taken for S2 |
2.00 – 2.50 | 20 | |
2.50 – 3.00 | 20 | 12 SKS |
3.00 – 3.50 | 22 | 12 SKS |
